A week ago, my friend Dean Rankine, who {appropriately!} is an artist for ‘The Simpsons’ comics, sent me a link to your advertisement for the role of female co-host on Toasted TV and encouraged me to apply. With over 300 hours of green screen, in-studio, on location, interviewing and moderating experience, the majority of which has been popular culture related, I believe I would be a great asset to your team. Here is why:

• Working with children every day for the last 3 years in a public library environment, building literacy through craft, storytime, and interactive, fun events for ages 0-15+. Engaging with the young adult market through 2 years of monthly comic book meetup events at Brisbane Square Library with Dr Paul Mason (Doctor of Visual Arts, University Lecturer at Griffith Art School ~ current Project: Phantom – Frew Comics, Eldritch Rid: Bone Wars – Gestalt Comics, The Soldier Legacy – creator owned series). • Presenting wildlife demonstrations with Bawden’s Cockatoo Chaos, with my zookeeper best friend Ben, since 2009, with our birds and reptiles. In my downtime, I help out at his #chaosfarm, which has been the feature of many TOTALLY WILD segments. They also filmed my rescue galah, Rosie’s, surgery at the Brisbane Bird Vet a few months ago (I was pacing nervously in the background!). • Bachelor of Arts (Majors: Public Relations, Journalism & Media Studies). Understanding of effective brand management strategies in developing appropriate content with mixed-media formats. Understanding of target market analysis, for example, Toasted TV’s audience may be the 5-15yr old demographic who are not yet old enough to access the internet, or youtube, on their own without parental supervision.
